ESOL – Lifelong Skills

ESOL courses are for people living in the UK and from overseas whose first language is not English. These courses cover the language skills of reading, writing, speaking, and listening and focus on developing your grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
You’ll learn to communicate through speaking, listening, reading, writing and Citizenship topics will also be covered throughout the course. You’ll gain a recognised qualification and can move through the levels as your skills improve.
The exams give you essential English skills for life, helping to improve your opportunities for work, study, and travel.
Our highly qualified and experienced English teachers will help you develop your language skills by setting you individual targets and monitoring your progress every step of the way. Students must be over 18 years old, and the maximum class size is 12 students.

ESOL Entry Levels (E1 – E3)
A basic level qualification that shows you can use English to communicate in simple situations. It shows you have made a good start in learning English.

ESOL Level 1
An intermediate level qualification. It shows you are able to use your English language skills for work, study and travel.

ESOL Level 2
An upper-intermediate level qualification. It proves you can use everyday written spoken English for work or study purposes.

Duration:
Courses are held on Mondays and Wednesdays for 12 weeks and you can choose either mornings (10am to 12pm) or evenings (6:30am to 8:30pm).
