What is GMAT?
The Graduate Management Admission Test is a computer adaptive test intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA program.
Is there a minimum acceptable score for GRE?
If you get a percentile ranking of 80%, for example, it means that you scored more highly than 80% of your peers, while 20% of your fellow test-takers scored as well or better than you. There is no single minimum GMAT score for MBA programs, and most schools don’t have a hard GMAT cutoff. However, if you’re looking at top 20 programs it will be almost impossible to get in without at least a 650 (and in many cases that will still be too low)
What are the GMAT sections?
Analytical Writing Assessment—measures your ability to think critically and to communicate your ideas Integrated Reasoning—measures your ability to analyze data and evaluate information presented in multiple formats Quantitative Reasoning—measures your ability to analyze data and draw conclusions using reasoning skills Verbal Reasoning—measures your ability to read and understand written material, to evaluate arguments and to correct written material to conform to standard written English In total the test takes just under 3 1
What is the difference between Academic Module and General Training module?
Both modules cover all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking. Everyone takes the same Listening and Speaking tests. There are different Reading and Writing tests for the Academic and General Training modules.
The Listening, Reading and Writing tests must be completed on the same day. There are no breaks between the three written tests. The Speaking test may be taken up to seven days before or after the other three tests.
