What is TOFEL?
TOEFL iBT is a new version of the TOEFL test. It is an internet-based test delivered in secure testing centers across the world. minimum acceptable score
It is usually accepted that 70 out of 120 is the minimum acceptable score. However, the minimum scores depend on the institution you apply for, your course, and some other factors as to whether you will be a Teaching Assistant. Any score more than 100 is surely respectable score in TOEFL.
What is the format of TOEFL iBT?
The new TOEFL iBT consists of four sections that are designed to measure the basic skills of the language: Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing. All sections are taken on the same day. The entire test is about four hours long. The test is computer-based, not computer-adaptive.
What is the difference between Academic Module and General Training module?
Both modules cover all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking. Everyone takes the same Listening and Speaking tests. There are different Reading and Writing tests for the Academic and General Training modules.
The Listening, Reading and Writing tests must be completed on the same day. There are no breaks between the three written tests. The Speaking test may be taken up to seven days before or after the other three tests.
